Hammerhead Sled Takes Center Stage

The Hammerhead Sled, CherryMax Sleds’ flagship product, is providing an exciting on-mountain experience for Tenney Mountain with multiple Hammerhead Venues and races

Steve Luhr, president of CherryMax Sleds said, “Tenney Mountain Understands the future business model and understands the Hammerhead technology. Together this is a simple recipe – one part carving sled, one part big hill, and one part lift equals a recreation simplifier that anyone can do.”

In stages during this season Tenney will develop the Hammerhead Sled “GO Fly Zone”, a terrain park with gates and gentle moguls; the “Hammerhead Rally X Stage a luge – type single track; and a “Rally X Series” powered by Eastern Mountain Sports, a course for weekly races.

Every Saturday at 1:00pm register in the Base Lodge from 9:00am to Noon. Space is limited so register early!

Hammerhead Go Fly Zone to open Saturday January 25, 2008
The Go Fly Zone is an extreme sledding park that will be serviced by our Handle Tow lift. Park will include jumps and other stunt elements. Hammerhead sleds are available to rent for a two hour extreme sledding sessions.
